Fit-out handover: organize the review before delivery day
Handover is a review of agreed deliverables. Organizing observations by location and work item makes responsibilities and follow-up clearer.
Start with the reference documents
Prepare the scope, approved drawings, samples and written changes. Identify what is included in the current handover.
Review by area
Record each observation clearly by location and item, with photographs where helpful and a description of the required action.
Include specialist reviews
Technical work requires the appropriate specialist checks, testing and commissioning. Appearance alone does not establish that every item is complete or suitable.
Track closure
Agree a list of observations, responsibilities and follow-up dates. Collect the applicable care information, warranties and documents required by the agreement.
