Use the same item list
Share the same drawings and scope. Identify missing or bundled items and ask for written clarification rather than assuming they are included.
Review material descriptions
Request specifications, samples, installation methods and preparatory works. Make the differences between proposed alternatives visible.
Understand quantities and measurement
Ask how quantities were obtained and which items will be measured as executed. Clarify supporting work, handling, delivery and payment conditions.
Compare the whole commitment
Review the proposed timeline, change process, site responsibilities and handover records alongside the price.
